On October 17th  giving homeless animals Loft project “Etagi” took place thanks to it 50 cats and more than 15 dogs had found their homes, the organizations gathered donations (with Help to cats service it amounted to 22500 roubles!)

For giving, we had 8 animals who, all of them, found their owners (we were allowed to use one cage).

“Drug» charitable foundation, adoption centres of St.-Petersburg,   “Poteriashka”, as well as media people and visitors were present at the loft project. They socialize with the people who came to choose a four-pawed friend, interchanged information and shared experience. Each organization and adoption centre presented an informational stand about their activities and needs in general.

By the “Poteriashka” stand underwritten “Patient at a clinic” with pictures of animals undergoing treatment at the moment we found a picture of a red cat who had been adopted by Ekaterina Sokolova, a member of the Managerial board of SPbOO “Help to cats service” two years ago (!) (the cat’s picture against a blue coverlet taken at E.Sokolova’s place).

He was then in bad need of rhynotracheitis treatment and as later was found out his kidneys were in a bad shape. The cat’s treatment still goes on, not by “Poteriashka” but by Ekaterina Sokolova.

We are sorry for this little digression, but when we saw that the cat was still being treated by “Poteriashka” we were somewhat choked up. All in all, the event progressed in a nice atmosphere and we were glad to participate in it. We’d like to express our appreciation to Svetlana who made our participation possible. Our gratitude is sure to be supported by all the people presented at the fair, especially the animals who found their homes and loving families.
